Although the 202 was never produced in white, we think you'll agree, it should have been. This 202 is been upgraded with a modern network in the base that eliminates the need for a separate subset. Due to space limitations in the chassis, there is no ringer internally, although external ringers are readily available. The handset is the venerable F-1 model that is acoustically superior to the older E series handset that was introduced in the 1920s.
This 202 dates from the early 1930s and it has a No 5 dial with an excellent numeric porcelain dial plate that shows virtually no wear. The phone has been completely disassembled, carefully stripped, and then expertly refinished with a beautiful white high gloss finish. The bakelite handset has been painted white using the very same materials and procedures implemented by the phone companies so many years ago.
As a finishing touch, a new white cloth covered handset cord, and a white modular line cord have been added to this classic. All components have been fully overhauled and tested to ensure that they will function properly both now, and in the years to come.
This wonderful piece of history carries a one year parts and labour warranty subject to our standard terms and conditions.
This is a great opportunity to own a fantastic piece of fully functional classic technology.
