Northern Electric orange 3554 touch tone wall phone. With round dial mount.

By the 1960s, Northern Electric (Northern Telecom) was emerging from the shadow of their big brother and they were actively developing their own designs and engineering products that were separate and distinct from Western Electric. One of the results of this separation is this Northern Telecom Model 3554.

The Northern Telecom 3554 Wall Phone features the same oversized housing as the rotary dial 554 . A round touch tone dial was engineered so that it could be installed in existing 554 phones without the need for a new phone housing.

This phone has been fully refurbished and tested on modern phone lines. The ringer works loud and clear.We have added a 15 foot handset cord to this classic to remind us of the days when a phone like this would be the main station of the household. The phone is designed for hard wired installation on your wall. Modular mounting plates are available for an additional $24.95.
