| Take a step back to the 1920s with this fully refurbished original Western Electric 51AL dial candlestick telephone.
The dial on this phone is an original Western Electric 5H . The dial has been cleaned, lubricated, and accurately adjusted to give another 80 years of faithful service. The porcelain plate on the dial is the alphanumeric version, and is in very good condition. The phone has received a beautiful black powdercoat finish that equals the original in appearance and that will certainly have unsurpassed durability.
The transmitter cup has been upgraded with a modern transmitter and network for compatibility with modern telephone lines. The transmitter face is a 337, and the near perfect original mouthpiece is made of bakelite that has been polished to a high sheen. The Type 144 receiver is also original and sounds great!
A new cloth covered receiver cord, and modular line cord, have been added to improve the appearance and performance of the candlestick. The bottom of the phone has been covered with a fine quality felt. A warbler is built into the transmitter cup to notify you of incoming calls.
