|The perfect companion to the famed Western Electric Blue 302! This original Northern Electric 354 wall telephone has been color matched to the original Western Electric Royal Blue.
The Model 354 is the wall phone version of the famed Model 302 deskphone. When it was introduced in 1946 it was the first "modern" wall phone made by Western/Northern Electric and it replaced many of the old wood phones that were still common at the time.
This thermoplastic 354 wall phone dates from the mid 1950s and it has been fitted with a new vinyl alphanumeric dial plate overlay that shows none of the wear that is so characteristic in phones from this period. This has been placed over the original dial plate and the effect results in a very vibrant dial plate .The phone has been completely disassembled, carefully stripped, and then expertly refinished with a beautiful royal blue high gloss finish. This is done using a product called Pollane which is extremely resistant to chips or cracking. This blue is matched to the original Western Electric royal blue used on the famed 302. The switchook and fingerwheel are a brilliant white that, along with the blue cloh cord, finish the piece off very nicely. The bakelite handset has been professionally painted using the very same materials and procedures implemented by the original phone companies of yesteryear.
As a finishing touch, a modular line cord has been added to this classic to faciliate connection to your phone line. All components have been fully overhauled and tested to ensure that they will function properly both now, and in the years to come.
This is a great opportunity to own a fantastic piece of fully functional classic technology with a unique twist.
Our model 352 telephones are built with an original Western

the drop down menu on your product listing if you prefer an older dial. All of
these dials look virtually the same when installed.
We have carefully rebuilt, lubricated and each dial to
ensure years of faithful trouble-free service. Here is a breakdown of the
different dial types.
Number 6 - default - The last technology jump for 3 inch
dials. A smooth return and light weight for dialing highlight this choice. It
is sturdily built and very reliable.
Number 5 - The predominant dial of the 40's and 50's was
replaced by the number 6 for a more universal fit. The number 5 dial features a
"whirr" sound upon its return and a good weight for dialing.
Number 4 - This is the first 5 contact, 3 inch dial. The
real joy of the dial lies in the highly sought after "clickity-clack"
sound that was eliminated with the introduction of the number 5. What was
eliminated from customer complaints, is now one of the features that collectors look for most in hunting out the
