Parts For This Phone

This is a really interesting dial telephone from Denmark. It was made by Kristian Kirks Telefonfabriker of Horsens for the Jydsk (Jutland) Telephone Authority. Manufacturing of this model was later transferred to Copenhagen where this phone was made during 1961.

Take note of the spitcup handset that is stylistically similar to the venerable Western Electric E1 model of the 1920??s. It is also interesting to see the alphanumeric dial with a different letter arrangement than is normally found in North America. It phone itself is very similar in appearance to the Ericsson PTT 1951 that was made in the Netherlands during the same period.

This body and handset of the Model 47E is made of Black Bakelite. The circuitry is in the phone body, while the ringer is attached to the metal base plate. A ringer control switch is intelligently located on the bottom of the phone.

This Model 47E has been lovingly buffed to bring our the original satin finish. A new modular line cord has been added to facilitate connection to modern phone lines. This phone has been fully tested, and is ready to deliver another 40 years of faithful service.
