The No 2 Uniphone, for instance, is a common battery wall telephone that is fully compatible with the telephone lines of today. The No 5 Uniphone, by contrast, is a local battery, dialless deskset that was designed for use with a magneto subset.This Uniphone is a No 2 wall phone that is fully compatible with modern telephone systems. A new coiled handset cord has been added, and the phone has be fitted with a classic cloth covered modular line cord to facilitate connection to your wall jack.
